1.General:

   Ultra-fast clearing of arc flash faults in medium voltage (MV) switchgear panels is essential in controlling arc flash hazards. Reducing the arcing time through faster detection is the most practical way of reducing incident energy levels and improving workplace safety.

2.Component:

     Three parts in a complete of are flash protection

      1)THT-APS-MU main control unit

      2)THT-LS arc sensor

      3)THT-LF fiber

3.This product is mainly applied to:

Bus bar protection in the Medium and low voltage switchgear of various power stations, transformer substations, distribution substations and box-type substations systems.Connector in the cable chamber of the feeder cabinet, and breaker cabinet protection;Rectification cabinet protection;Other equipment with easy occurrence of arc light, such as high voltage electrical machine junction box protection.

4.Structure chart of typical application

S   Bus protection requires one primary unit and one (or more) arc light collection unit(s).

S   Each arc light protection collection unit can provide 16-way arc light collection input.

S   The primary unit is mounted in the incoming cabinet, and the collection unit is arranged in the feeder cabinet in a distributed way.

S   Arc Signals were transmitted between the primary unit and collecting unit by optical fiberand data communication realizes serial port connection.

S   Feeder protection: each independent switch cabinet is mounted with one primary unit.

S   The primary unit supports two kinds of rated input current, namely 1A and 5A.
